The Ministry of Labor brings six companies to directly provide 1,091 job opportunities for former workers and job seekers in Pailin city.

(Pailin Province): Employment opportunities from factories and enterprises in the industrial and agricultural sectors were provided through the Forum on Employment, Social Security, and Vocational Training under the theme: "Cambodians Help Find Work for Cambodians, Cambodians Provide Work for Cambodians" at Hun Sen High School, Tep Nimmith City, Pailin, Pailin City, Pailin Province, on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

With the enrollment of technical skills, approximately 100 former workers and young job seekers can register and receive immediate local job opportunities at their local level through six factories and enterprises, including: Ventura Leaders M.F.W. (CD) Co., Ltd., Yazaki (Cambodia) Products Co., Ltd., Chhay Navoryan Company, Huy Sin Yuan Company, and Long Hor Company. At this forum, TAFTAC also promoted job opportunities for its members and Mongkul H.A., a recruitment agency for workers to work in Japan, participated.

On that occasion, His Excellency Yim Sinan, Secretary of State, representing His Excellency HENG Sour, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, emphasized the importance of domestic employment, which provides numerous benefits in accordance with current regulations through the Social Security Scheme (SSS), including healthcare, pensions, and occupational risk management. Domestic employment not only helps individuals live together with their families, care for their children and parents, but also protects them from illegal labor exploitation abroad and actively contributes to national economic development.

Concurrently, to enhance capacity and secure higher incomes in the future, His Excellency also encouraged youth and former workers to pursue technical skills training through the 1.5 million TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) program, a key policy of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister, aiming to provide at least one vocational skill to youth from poor and at-risk families.

Bringing in more than 1,000 job opportunities, this is part of the weekly job forum of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, which has a total of 87,361 job opportunities in the capital-province for citizens, especially former workers returning from Thailand. To date, approximately over 310,000 former workers returning from abroad have found employment locally through this forum.

For citizens who wish to inquire for more information about job opportunities and other benefits, please contact Hotline 1297 for employment and 1286 for more details about NSSF benefits.
